	April 20 - May 20 Taurus Taurean dogs have calm dispositions and are full of love and affection for those around them. Let your dog loose creatively over the next few weeks. Ever heard of the dog who scratches different colours onto a canvas? It’s true! Your dog could be the next paw painter with all that artistic inspiration this month. Or, you could just let your pup rip up your slippers or make a mess to release some creative tension.
	May 21 - June 21 Gemini Gemini dogs are social and possess inquisitive natures that help them learn tricks quickly. The dog park is beckoning. Don’t miss your daily walks this month or you’ll have one temperamental Gemini on your hands. Gemini dogs will love to meet new friends in August, so make sure you let them sniff as many bums as they like. It’s also the perfect time to introduce a new puppy to the pack.
	June 22 - July 22 Cancer Dogs under the Crab sign are sensitive and loving — they truly fit the role of a furry baby. Coddle your Cancer canine this month with special treats. Whether it’s a trip to the local dog bakery or a brand new collar and leash set, your pup will lap up the material love. Also, make sure to have a comfy bed prepared for your homebody pup because she’s going to want to chill out and catch up on some sleep.
	July 23 - August 22 Leo Lookout for these drama queens! Leos are extroverts who love to be the centre of attention. With lucky Leos celebrating birthdays around the world, it’s time to set up a party for your little one. The more the merrier, so invite all of your pooch’s pals over for some play fights and dog cookies. Your Leo dog may even get a few birthday pressies from the guests — other than some smelly unmentionables in the yard.
	August 23 - September 22 Virgo Virgo dogs make clean, admiring pets who find joy in working with their owner. Pamper Virgo dogs with a trip to the spa this month. These perfectionist pups will lavish a luxury day of massages, pedicures and grooming. You may also want to wash all those slobbery toys and hairy beds for a nice fresh atmosphere. Virgo dogs are all about "out with the old and in with the new" this August.
	September 23 - October 22 Libra Pretty Libran dogs are generally easy to get along with and tend to be big flirts. Summer loving is here for Libran pups. Your dog may find her canine soul mate to play some fetch with or chase some cats. Maybe your dog would like to get married with fancy costumes and guests? Ok, that’s a little cheesy. You could just invite some friends with dogs for a shindig to celebrate the beautiful August weather.
	October 23 - November 21 Scorpio Mysterious Scorpio dogs are extremely loyal to their owners and can have hypnotic qualities. Don’t let moping Scorpio pups fool you — they’re just putting on a show to get a little attention. Skip the melodrama and give them plenty of cuddles before they have a reason to complain. Scorpio dogs are looking for some fulfillment, so let them explore the backyard freely and have some time for self discovery.
	November 22 - December 21 Sagittarius Intelligent and brave, Sagittarian dogs are always keen for adventure and lighthearted fun. Sagittarian dogs just can’t keep their mouths shut this month. Whether it’s constant barking, chewing the furniture or binge eating, the Sagittarian dog will make good use of teeth and tongue in August. Watch out for your dog eating the indigestible, such as tent pegs, money and massive amounts of grass (true stories from the news recently). A new chew toy may help to pacify the urge to keep their chops in motion.
	December 22 - January 19 Capricorn Capricorn dogs are reliable and faithful. They will not ask for a biscuit, they will demand it. Travelling Capricorn canines need to be careful this month. Unforeseen disasters can put a damper on the holidays, so watch out for Capricorn dogs escaping from open car doors or tossing their cookies in the back seat on a road trip. Travelling with dogs is never an easy task, but you should be on high alert with a Capricorn dog in August.
	January 20 - February 18 Aquarius Quirky Aquarian dogs can act pretty crazy sometimes, but there’s reason behind the madness. Let loose with your Aquarian cutie this August. It’s all about fun for your kooky pet, so play lots of games and try learning some new tricks together over the next few weeks. 	February 19 - March 20 Pisces Dogs born under this fish sign are highly intuitive and will be able to read your moods. Pisces pups may be a little more lethargic than usual in the August heat. Be sure to always have a bowl of fresh water available and keep a close eye out for heat exhaustion. A great idea is to whip up some dog ice cream to pep up your pup. A cool swim in the lake might also be a welcome afternoon activity.
